Common questions
Can I use Vault records in applications and reviews?
Vault certificates and reports can be included in review packs, applications, and evidence submissions. Acceptance depends on the requirements of the individual university, employer, or organisation.
Do you store my original files?
Files you upload directly to Vault are stored in your private record. Synced projects may also include material or links originating from Arts Thread, depending on how the project was imported.
Can I keep adding evidence after syncing from Arts Thread?
Yes. After a project is synced, you can continue adding sketches, videos, source files, research, and development snapshots to its Vault record.
Can I choose what people see?
Yes. A Share room contains only the work and evidence you select. Its access, download, password, email, and expiry options depend on the settings you choose.
Does a Vault record prove legal ownership?
No. A Vault record can provide evidence that a file or creation was recorded at a particular time. It supports a provenance trail, but it does not establish authorship, originality, legal ownership, copyright registration, or acceptance by a court or authority.
